How it works

How AmaCare works

A simple WhatsApp-based flow built around safety and clarity. You stay in control of what you share.

Step 01

Complete your health profile

Share basic health information such as date of birth, biological sex, pregnancy or recent birth status, medical conditions, current medications, and medication allergies.

Step 02

Ask your health question

Send your own symptom or health concern through WhatsApp.

Step 03

Receive guidance

AmaCare provides self-care guidance for mild concerns, recommends doctor review where appropriate, or advises emergency action for serious warning signs.

Step 04

AmaCare decides next steps

You don't request escalation yourself. If your case needs clinician review, AmaCare will prompt you in chat to reply Speak to Amacare doctor. If symptoms may be life-threatening, AmaCare tells you to call 112 immediately.

When AmaCare escalates to a doctor

You don't request a doctor yourself. AmaCare reviews your concern first and decides if it should be escalated.
